In addition, there community offers lighted tennis courts, soccer fields, ball diamonds, a nature preserve with hiking trails, a community center, teen center, William B. Fosser's Puppet Opera Theatre and the West Meadows Ice Arena with a NHL-size indoor rink.

With more than 400 shops and restaurants in the area, there's something for everyone! And Woodfield Mall, one of the largest retail shopping centers in the United States, is just two miles away. The Rolling Meadow Historical Museum, designed as a replica of the first ranch-style homes built in 1953, is so popular that it has received the Illinois Association of Museums' Superior Achievement Award.
